Sweating in a hot day may increase the discomfort index, a measure of the effect of heat and humidity on the body, but it benefits the body by helping keep it cool. Manscaping removes the hair, which covers the skin surface, allowing the body to better regulate its temperature in hot weather. It gives a dry and cool feel, especially in summer. At the same time, less sweating means less odor. In addition, long hairs collect and trap all kinds of molecules such as dead skin cells, sweat, and urine, creating an ideal breeding ground for yeast and bacteria including STDs. #1. Take a shower with warm water, rather than cold water to soften stiff body hairs and help the razor slide smoothly across the skin.
#2. Exfoliating is not a must, but it gently removes a layer of dead skin cells, allowing the razor to cut closer to the base of the hair, and smooth out the skin surface, helping prevent ingrown hairs.
#3. If you have especially thick and dense body hair, use scissors to trim it down before reaching for the razor. This prevents the razor blades from getting clogged, and thus saves time.

#5. Although it may sound laborious, rinse the razor head under water after every one or two strokes.
#6. After shaving, make sure that you rinse the shaved area with cool water to remove all hair debris and shaving foam/cream residue and pat (don’t rub) your skin dry. Finish with a moisturizer or balm to rehydrate your skin.
